Cody Franson is from Sicamous BC. He is currently under contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. Franson was drafted in the third round, 79th overall, by the Nashville Predators in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He joined the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2011, before eventually returning to Nashville via a trade on February 15, 2015. Career Total to date 42 Goals, 163 Assist.

Cain Franson is from Sicamous BC, born March 25, 1993.
Cain played four seasons with the Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League. He than went on to play for the Allen Americans in the CHL. In 2014 Cain enrolled at the University of Calgary where he plays for the Dinos. Cain has an impressive career point total with 120 goals, 132 assists.
Cain was one of 11 alumni selected to represent the WHL on the U SPORTS All-Star Team who faced off against Canada’s National Junior Team prospects in a two-game set prior to the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Kris Beech is a former NHL player and a certified mindfulness coach.
He was drafted seventh overall in the 1999 NHL draft by the Washington Capitals. He played seven seasons in the NHL before spending another eight seasons in Europe.
Since hanging up the skates in 2015-16, Kris pursued becoming a mindfulness coach, where he strives to provide meditation and mindfulness techniques with an emphasis on resilience and
creating an athlete's mind, ensuring success on and off the ice.
He works with athletes to help improve their ability to focus their attention on the present moment task demands within the competitive environment.
Kris has committed to practicing the techniques, the same ones he coaches, on a daily basis for the past seven years.
He spent five of those years integrating mindfulness into every aspect of the competitive environment. Having been a former professional hockey player, Kris has gone through many experiences to help him communicate the benefits of the training and have it connect with others.
In 2016-17, Kris was the mindfulness coach at the Delta Hockey Academy as well as working with WHL and BCHL players. He has been a keynote speaker for major corporations and will
be introducing his mindfulness journey at the 2018 Greater Edmonton Teachers’ Convention. He is also slated to speak for the Canada Sport Institute in front of olympic and Paralympic competitors at the 2018 Athlete Advance.

Sarah’s passion for mental performance was ignited as a young hockey player when she began to recognize how certain aspects of her mental game were impacting performance. This interest led her to pursue studying sport psychology in university. Sarah holds a Master of Arts degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Sport Psychology from The University of British Columbia. During her time as a student Sarah gained experience as a mental performance consultant through internship opportunities and since completing her degree, has been providing mental performance support to athletes and coaches with a variety of sport backgrounds.
Sarah has worked with athletes and coaches at the collegiate and university levels, regional levels, and provincial levels. She enjoys working with individual athletes, teams and coaches to enhance their mental preparation and performance strategies. Her aim is to help athletes better understand their performance tendencies, while introducing them to mental skills and strategies they can implement to improve performances.
